I got my first customer for cupcake orders today! Yay!!! For my friend Hannah's Dad's birthday next week! I'm so psyched I have something to bake for! They're going to be some kind of lemon...I'm currently looking up recipes now. Gah, simply joys.
Now that's two Pippin allusions in one post. Tomorrow is opening night so I guess it's acceptable. Pippin is the wackiest musical I have ever seen. So sadistic and twisted, but the music is great, and it's been crazy fun with all the cast this year.
For one of the cast parties I am making vanilla bean cupcakes with blackberry butter cream. And I'll be documenting the process to post on this here site. Woo! They're going to look uber fantastic, I know it.
